Travel Tips:

• If you don't mind the 50 mile drive to Panama City Beach, multiple major air carriers also fly into the Ft. Walton Beach airport (airport code VPS) and the prices are often lower prices than Panama City, FL airport.


• Spring Break: Book very early to fly into Panama City, FL during March and the first two weeks of April. It will be crowded, expensive, and traffic will be jammed to cross the bridge from Panama City, FL to Panama City Beach, FL area.
  
  A better alternative: Fly into Ft. Walton (airport code VPS) which is located 50 miles to the west. Your rental car will be cheaper, and driving you will approach Panama City Beach from the west without the bottlenecks between Panama City and Panama City Beach (connected by only one bridge).
