City Beach, Florida, was recently rated the number four beach in America by The Travel
Channel. The top ten beaches were debuted on The Travel Channel, Saturday, March 11th,
2001. During the one-hour program, the top ten countdown revealed Panama City Beach as the
number four beach in America due to its stunning white sand beaches, amenities, and
activities.
Former Miss Universe, Brook Lee and Miami's Dr. Stephen Leatherman, hosted the one-hour
show, which premiered Panama City Beach as one of the summer's hottest spots. Panama City
Beach's sugar white sand, emerald green waters, nightlife and attractions were showcased
during the segment.
