Overview
Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort offers the most desirable year-round sand, surf and golf
vacation experience in the Southeast for families and groups. The 2,400-acre Sandestin
Golf and Beach Resort, founded in 1973, is the premier destination in Northwest Florida.
Sandestin is the only resort in the area situated on both the Intercoastal Waterway and
the Gulf of Mexico.
Sandestin offers incomparable golf, including the new Raven Golf Club, expanded tennis and
a broad range of recreational activities. Accommodations can be found in a wide variety of
rental units ranging from condominium villas to large single-family homes.
Sandestin has embarked on the most ambitious development program in Northwest Florida.
Soon, the resort will open The Village of Baytowne Wharf (2002), featuring 42 unique
retail and restaurant merchants. In 2003, the resort will open The Grand Sandestin and The
Baytowne Conference Center, which will feature the largest ballroom in Northwest Florida
on the Gulf Coast.
